The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Gloucester City Lions (Gloucester City, NJ) and the host Woodstown Wolverines (Woodstown, NJ), observed Gloucester City's softball team notch a victory over Woodstown by a tally of 14-1.

The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Mainland Regional was routed by Vineland (Vineland, NJ), 18-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Haddon Heights Garnets (Haddon Heights, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 11. Woodstown will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Garnets go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Burlington Township (Burlington, NJ).
