The Paris Eagles (Paris, AR) softball nipped the visiting Magazine Rattlers (Magazine, AR), 18-17 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cossatot River for a 3A Region 4 outing on Friday, April 11. Paris will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 13-2 league loss to Charleston (Charleston, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Magazine moves to 4-6 on the season. The Rattlers travel to Mulberry (Mulberry, AR) to meet the Yellowjackets in a 1A Region 4 challenge on Friday, April 11. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 0-6.
