The Robinson Senators triumphed over the visiting Mount St. Mary Academy Belles softball squad by a count of 11-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Senators play the Heber Springs Panthers (Heber Springs, AR) in a 4A Region 5 North challenge, on Friday, April 11. Robinson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 10-7 league win over Clinton (Clinton, AR).
The Belles (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR). The Sand Lizards enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Dardanelle was routed by Pottsville (Pottsville, AR), 12-0, in a league challenge.
