The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN) and the visiting Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN), observed Southwest Christian's softball team get by Providence Academy by a tally of 4-3.

The Stars (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Maranatha Christian Academy was nipped by Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN), 20-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Heritage Christian (Karlstad, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 12. Providence Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
