The Star City Bulldogs (Star City, AR) softball routed the host Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR), 18-4 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watson Chapel for a 4A Region 8 outing on Friday, April 11. Star City will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 20-0 league loss to Crossett (Crossett, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Rison moves to 4-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Drew Central (Monticello, AR) to encounter the Pirates in a 3A Region 8 outing on Tuesday, April 15. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 3-9. Drew Central lost 16-1 in their recent league outing against DeWitt (DeWitt, AR)
