In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Cabot Panthers baseball team scored a close 8-5 victory over the Beebe Badgers.
The Panthers (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Warriors enter the 6A Central game with a 12-5 record. In their last game, Little Rock Christian Academy held off Bentonville (Bentonville, AR), 8-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Badgers face the Greenbrier Panthers (Greenbrier, AR) in a 5A Central game, on Tuesday, April 14. Beebe will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 9-7 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR).
