In Friday's non-league bout, the Stony Brook Bears (Stony Brook, NY) baseball squad the host McEachern Indians (Powder Springs, GA), by a tally of 11-9.

Next up, the Bears encounter the Poly Prep Country Day Blue Devils (Brooklyn, NY) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, April 19. Stony Brook will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record.

The Indians (21-6) will now prepare for their bout against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots enter the AAAAAA Region 3 bout with a 12-11 record. In their last bout, Paulding County edged Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA), 10-0, in a league bout.
