The Ridgemont Golden Gophers baseball squad (Mount Victory, OH), was overwhelmed 19-2 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH)

With the triumph, Mt. Gilead moves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Indians host Loudonville (Loudonville, OH) to confront the Redbirds in a Knox Morrow Athletic contest on Tuesday, April 14. The Redbirds come into the contest with a record of 1-6. Loudonville lost 5-1 in their recent non-league contest against Orrville (Orrville, OH)

The Golden Gophers now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple Christian for a Northwest Central contest on Monday, April 13. Ridgemont will confront a Pioneers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to New Knoxville (New Knoxville, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-1.
