The Oakman Wildcats edged the visiting Dora Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats play the Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 13. Oakman will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 17-12 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL).
The Bulldogs (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Haleyville (Haleyville, AL). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 9-13 record. In their last challenge, Haleyville edged Shoals Christian (Florence, AL), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
