The St. Mary's Rams softball squad (Stockton, CA), was routed 7-3 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Merced Bears (Merced, CA)

With the triumph, Merced improves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Atwater (Atwater, CA) to face the Falcons in a Central California Conference contest on Tuesday, April 14. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 9-5. Atwater won 13-0 in their recent league contest against Los Banos (Los Banos, CA)

The Rams now hold a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gregori for a non-league contest on Friday, April 10. St. Mary's will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to Enochs (Modesto, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-6.
