The Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA) softball nipped the host Righetti Warriors (Santa Maria, CA), 3-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Marcos for a Channel outing on Tuesday, April 14. Oxnard will encounter a Royals team coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Buchanan (Clovis, CA). The Royals record now stands at 11-8.
