The Belle Chasse Cardinals baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host South Lafourche Tarpons to 1 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Monday.
The Cardinals (14-6) will now prepare for their match against Salmen (Slidell, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Salmen was overwhelmed by Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), 4-0, in a league match.
The Tarpons (18-11) will now prepare for their match against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Terriers go into the 4A District 8 match with a 24-5 record. In their last match, Vandebilt Catholic was overwhelmed by South Lafourche (Galliano, LA), 12-6, in a league match.
