North Carolina High School Baseball - Butler defeats Cannon

The Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) baseball trounced the host Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), 11-5 in Monday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 12. Butler will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Sabres come into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC).

The Cougars now sport a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Mallard Creek for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 12. Cannon will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 6-8.
