The Fairfield Lions baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Western Indians to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Eastern (Sardinia, OH). The Warriors go into the Southern Hills match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Eastern ran past Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH), 20-0, in a league match.
The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH). The Vikings go into the Southern Ohio I match with a 0-0 record.
