In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Westfield Area Pioneers baseball team scored a tight 11-7 victory over the Markesan Hornets.
The Pioneers (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Nekoosa (Nekoosa, WI). The Papermakers go into the South Central game with a 0-0 record.
The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Wayland Academy (Beaver Dam, WI). The Big Red go into the Trailways - North outing with a 0-0 record.
