The R-S Central Hilltoppers baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host West Lincoln Rebels to 14 in the Hilltoppers non-league victory on Monday.

The Hilltoppers (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Wolverines go into the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Polk County was edged by East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC), 7-4, in a non-league test.

With the defeat, West Lincoln falls to 6-10 on the season. The Rebels host Newton-Conover (Newton, NC) to battle the Red Devils in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Tuesday, April 12. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 5-8. Newton-Conover won 10-6 in their recent league test against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
