The Fairview Knights lacrosse team scored 18 points and held the host Pine Creek Eagles to 2 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.
The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Grandview (Aurora, CO). The Wolves go into the 5A East game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Grandview was overwhelmed by Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO), 15-5, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the 5A South game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Cheyenne Mountain prevailed over Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO), 16-4, in a non-league game.
