In Monday's league contest, the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) lacrosse squad routed the host Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI), by a count of 12-7.

Coming up next, the Chieftains confront the North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) in a Division 3 contest, on Thursday, April 14. Ponaganset will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Mounties now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Country Day for a Division 3 contest on Tuesday, April 12.
