The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) and the visiting South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA), saw Quaker Valley's lacrosse team overcome South Fayette by a margin of 9-1.

The Quakers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rebels enter the WPIAL 2A 2 challenge with a 1-3 record.

The Lions (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Trojans enter the challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, North Catholic beat Ambridge (Ambridge, PA), 23-1, in a league challenge.
