Next, the Cardinals confront the Sumter Fighting Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 12. Cardinal Newman will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Fighting Gamecocks enter the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Blythewood (Blythewood, SC).
