California High School Softball - Santa Ana topped by Bellflower

In Monday's non-league contest, the Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Santa Ana Saints (Santa Ana, CA), by a margin of 18-2.

With the triumph, Bellflower moves its record to 13-10 on the year. The Buccaneers host Valley Christian (Cerritos, CA) to play the Defenders in a non-league contest on Monday, April 18. The Defenders come into the contest with a record of 3-13.

In their next game, the Saints play the Costa Mesa Mustangs (Costa Mesa, CA) in a Orange Coast contest, on Wednesday, April 13. Santa Ana will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 22-7 league win over Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA).
