The Ephrata Mountaineers softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Cedar Crest Falcons to 5 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Ephrata moves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Mountaineers host Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA) to play the Buckskins in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 game on Tuesday, April 12. The Buckskins come into the game with a record of 2-3. Conestoga Valley lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Penn Manor (Millersville, PA)

In their next game, the Falcons play the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 13. Cedar Crest will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Warwick (Lititz, PA).
