The Niles North Vikings softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting DePaul College Prep Rams to 11 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Niles North improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a Central Suburban - North game on Tuesday, April 12. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 0-4. Deerfield lost 12-2 in their recent non-league game against New Trier (Winnetka, IL)

In their next game, the Rams clash with the Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) in a GCAC-White game, on Tuesday, April 12. DePaul College Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL).
