The E.E. Smith Golden Bulls softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Seventy-First Falcons to 0 in the Golden Bulls non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, E.E. Smith improves its record to 3-9 on the year. The Golden Bulls travel to Westover (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Wolverines in a All American 3A/4A game on Tuesday, April 12. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 0-10. Westover lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A game, on Tuesday, April 12. Seventy-First will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Buccaneers come into the game with a 4-10 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC).
