The Paxton Bobcats softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Freeport Bulldogs to 0 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Paxton improves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Baker (Baker, FL) to clash with the Gators in a 1A District 1 game on Friday, April 15. The Gators come into the game with a record of 9-3.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Central Jaguars (Milton, FL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 12. Freeport will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 6-5 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Laurel Hill (Laurel Hill, FL).
