The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA) and the host Nogales Nobles (La Puente, CA), saw Hillcrest's softball squad nip Nogales by a count of 9-2.

The Trojans now sport a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Sierra for a River Valley match on Tuesday, April 12. Hillcrest will face a Eagles squad coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Summit (Fontana, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-14.

With the loss, Nogales falls to 12-9 on the campaign. The Nobles travel to Azusa (Azusa, CA) to face the Aztecs in a Montview match on Tuesday, April 12. The Aztecs enter the match with a record of 7-7. Azusa lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA)
