Red Lion Christian Academy Lions (Bear, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mark's for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13.
With the loss, Milford falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Polytech (Woodside, DE) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
