In Monday's non-league contest, the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL), by a margin of 11-5.

With the triumph, Minooka moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Oswego (Oswego, IL) to play the Panthers in a Suburban Prairie - South contest on Tuesday, April 12. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 6-1. Oswego lost 13-11 in their recent non-league contest against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL)

In their next game, the Celtics play the Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) in a GCAC- Red contest, on Tuesday, April 12. Providence Catholic will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
