Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Taylor Titans (Kokomo, IN), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Twin Lakes for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12.

With the loss, Taylor falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Delphi Community (Delphi, IN) to battle the Oracles in a Hoosier Heartland challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Oracles enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Delphi Community lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against West Central (Francesville, IN)
