Kentucky High School Softball - Pike County Central bounces Rowan County

The Pike County Central Hawks routed the visiting Rowan County Vikings softball squad by a final score of 5-0 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Hawks (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Magoffin County was routed by Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 12-0, in a league battle.

The Vikings now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bath County for a District 61 battle on Thursday, April 14. Rowan County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-2.
