The Burns Bulldogs baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Piedmont Panthers to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs (14-2) will now prepare for their match against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Crest edged Bandys (Catawba, NC), 2-1, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their match against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks go into the Southern Carolina 4A match with a 7-10 record. In their last match, Marvin Ridge edged West Ashley (Charleston, SC), 15-3, in a non-league match.
