The Catholic Crusaders got by the visiting Independence Patriots baseball team by a count of 10-9 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Woodrow Wilson for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 12. Catholic will face a Flying Eagles team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA). The Flying Eagles record now stands at 7-8.
Next, the Patriots face the Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 12. Independence will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 5-9 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV).
