In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Humboldt Cubs baseball team scored a nice 23-0 victory over the Eureka Tornadoes.
The Cubs (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Burlington (Burlington, KS). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Burlington overcame Prairie View (La Cygne, KS), 16-3, in a league game.
The Tornadoes (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Neodesha (Neodesha, KS). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Neodesha overcame Bluestem (Leon, KS), 7-0, in a non-league game.
