Florida High School Baseball - Lake Region loses to George Jenkins

The George Jenkins Eagles crushed the visiting Lake Region Thunder baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Meade for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 13. George Jenkins will face a Miners team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over All Saints' Academy (Winter Haven, FL). The Miners record now stands at 14-6.

Next, the Thunder face the Bartow Yellow Jackets (Bartow, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 12. Lake Region will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the bout with a 7-10 record after their 12-8 non-league loss to George Jenkins (Lakeland, FL).
