In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host East Alton-Wood River Oilers soccer squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the Jennings Warriors.
The Oilers (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Centralia was overwhelmed by Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL), 6-3, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against McCluer South-Berkeley (Ferguson, MO). The Bulldogs come into the Class 2 District 5 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, McCluer South-Berkeley thwarted Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
