In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Maine South Hawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Fremd Vikings.
The Hawks now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Elgin for a non-league test on Saturday, April 15.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a test, on Thursday, April 13. Fremd will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 6-3 league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).
