The Mother McAuley Mighty Macs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Downers Grove North Trojans to 0 in the Mighty Macs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Mother McAuley moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Mighty Macs travel to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to clash with the Friars in a game on Thursday, April 13. The Friars come into the game with a record of 6-0.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 12. Downers Grove North will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record.
