Northwest Knights (Cincinnati, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Princeton Vikings (Cincinnati, OH), 23-12 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 1-0 record.

With the loss, Princeton falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH) to battle the Thunderhawks in a challenge on Monday, April 17. The Thunderhawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Lakota East lost 21-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Springboro (Springboro, OH)
