California High School Softball - Point Loma bounces Otay Ranch

Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) fans went home satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their softball squad top the visiting Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), 13-3 in a non-league battle.

The Pointers (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Marauders go into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Mira Mesa topped Oceanside (Oceanside, CA), 8-0, in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Helix for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 13. Otay Ranch will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over San Pasqual (Escondido, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-3.
