Maryland High School Softball - Aberdeen felled by Westminster

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Westminster Owls softball team scored a nice 14-4 triumph over the Aberdeen Eagles.
With the triumph, Westminster moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Owls travel to Liberty (Sykesville, MD) to play the Lions in a Monocacy Valley - Chesapeake contest on Friday, April 14. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 7-3. Liberty lost 13-3 in their recent non-league contest against Catoctin (Thurmont, MD)
In their next game, the Eagles play the Elkton Golden Elks (Elkton, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay contest, on Wednesday, April 12. Aberdeen will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Golden Elks come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, PA).
