Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Washburn Millers (Minneapolis, MN), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Stars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Visitation for a Tri-Metro challenge on Tuesday, April 18.
With the loss, Washburn falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Millers travel to Fridley (Fridley, MN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
