The Mt. Eden Monarchs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets to 7 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Mt. Eden moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Hayward (Hayward, CA) to clash with the Farmers in a West Alameda County-Shoreline game on Wednesday, April 19.
