New Mexico High School Softball - Estancia can't hold off Capitan

The Capitan Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Estancia Bears to 10 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Capitan improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM) to clash with the Mavericks in a A/2A District 3 game on Thursday, April 13. The Mavericks come into the game with a record of 10-6. Lordsburg won 14-1 in their recent league game against Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM)
In their next game, the Bears clash with the East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 12. Estancia will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Timberwolves come into the game with a 11-6 record after their 16-0 league win over Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM).
