The La Grande Tigers (La Grande, OR) softball routed the visiting College Place Hawks (College Place, WA), 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR). The Pioneers go into the 4A Greater Oregon bout with a 0-1 record.
The Hawks now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ellensburg for a non-league bout on Friday, April 14. College Place will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-7 league loss to Othello (Othello, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
