Glencoe Crimson Tide (Hillsboro, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mountainside Mavericks (Beaverton, OR), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Crimson Tide now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forest Grove for a 6A Pacific challenge on Friday, April 14.

With the loss, Mountainside falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Sunset (Portland, OR) to battle the Apollos in a 6A Metro challenge on Friday, April 14. The Apollos enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Sunset won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Tigard (Tigard, OR)
