The Hoquiam Grizzlies softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Klahowya Eagles to 3 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Hoquiam improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Tenino (Tenino, WA) to clash with the Beavers in a 1A Evergreen game on Thursday, April 13. The Beavers come into the game with a record of 2-4. Tenino won 12-5 in their recent non-league game against Ilwaco (Ilwaco, WA)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] Rivals (Port Townsend, WA) in a game, on Friday, April 14. Klahowya will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Rivals come into the game with a 0-4 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA).
