Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Howland Tigers (Warren, OH), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Plum for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Shaler Area will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Howland falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH) to battle the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. The Lakers enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Pymatuning Valley won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Windham (Windham, OH)
