The Junction City/St. Xavier Bluejays got by the host Manhattan Indians softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Bluejays (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Gardner-Edgerton (Gardner, KS). The Trailblazers go into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record.

The Indians now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Junction City for a Centennial battle on Tuesday, April 11. Manhattan will meet a Bluejays squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Salina Central (Salina, KS). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-0.
