Man Hillbillies (Man, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hillbillies now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sherman for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Man will battle a Tide squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Logan (Logan, WV). The Tide record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Point Pleasant falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Big blacks host Warren (Vincent, OH) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Warren lost 15-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Alexander (Albany, OH)
