The South Columbus Stallions softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host North Brunswick Scorpions to 2 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, South Columbus moves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Stallions travel to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 12. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-9. East Bladen lost 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)
In their next game, the Scorpions play the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A game, on Tuesday, April 18. North Brunswick will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record.
